RE: Female Posters Do Not Read!

Drop it. You may win a battle or two but you most certainly wind up losing the war.

RE: Checking air pressures on Bounder

Motorhomes don't use air, they only use gas. Seriously, I suspect they were installed wrong, failed to install the extenders necessary to get to the air in the inside rear dual tire. (Assuming you have not lost your reading glasses that we all need to do the close up jobs)

RE: How many started in a tent

I not only started in a tent but got a $25000 trade in for mine.
When looking at the model MH we eventually bought at an RV show the salesman asked if we had a trade-in. I said yes, if we could get $25000 for it we would buy. Told him my trade was a "Hillary". He ask what a Hillary was. Told him it was a three man model. He laughed.
Two weeks later they came down $25000 on the "Show special" price. (They even let me keep the tent, still have it)

RE: Tires in Oregon

There is a Les Schwabs just down the road from Henderson's Line Up in Grants Pass. If you are due for an alignment could do both.

RE: Engine Heater

Only turn mine on if the temp gets down below 20. Turn it on for an hour or so. If I'm not on shore power I'll just run it for a 1/2 hour or so while running the gen. to make coffee. I have started the engine when it was 5 degrees without using the block heater without issues.

RE: Snow in Southern Californa Deserts

Hello Ray. I can recall a few good snowstorms growing up in Barstow.
When we moved to Ridgecrest in 1976 we were in a motel on April 1st. I looked out the window when I woke up and there was 4 inches of snow on the ground. The wife asked what the weather looked like and I told her there was 4 inches of snow on the ground. Being that it was April 1st she didn't believe me so she put on some shorts.
