Hey Mr Wizard.
Remember me. I posted instructions for making a cheap dish for better WiFi reception. I finally got so sick and tired of the negative comments and emails from people telling me it could not work I took down the web page.
Some people are just wired wrong.

It will work on the seat, sometimes.
There could be six satellites available but it might see only three of them. If something blocks one of those like a building, overpass or trees you will loose the signal.

For the first time in six years I skipped the credit card and payed cash.
I got pretty good at pre-paying close to the exact amount needed to fill the tank.
I can always use the short walk to stretch my legs.

I bought a 12 ft cable for $9.95
My buddy got a 6 ft one for $89.95
I can't tell the difference in picture quality... copper is copper no matter what they say.

As far as I'm concerned .95 is par with the US dollar.
I'm in Arizona right now and as you know they don't have GST in the US. If the CND dollar ever goes even then it's really 5% less on all purchases. A $100 item minus GST is like $95 CND :)

There are two parks we have used that are open year round.
Pinery Prov Park
Our Ponderosa
Depending where you go after that, we like to stay at Fort Custer state park near Battle Creek Mich. Open all year (elec and dump station only)

If your old laptop is indeed 10 years old then the Asus EeePC is probably 10 times more powerful and you will not regret the purchase.

I never have problems with WiFi anymore unless the setup at the park was put up by an amateur.
Don't rely on your PCs built in WiFi adapter. Get one of these at the very least.

They have a group of so called drivers and try to rehabilitate them. How these morons got their license in the first place is beyond me.
