Thanks all for the Response If the Details below help any …..more response is appreciated P 30 CHASSIS And yes there is a Frame Extention. 1986 Winnebago Elandan 32 ft I do not use the Main 60 Gallon Gas Tank which is behind the Rear Axle and Greatly affects the weight on the Rear. I would imagine that might help. That’s a lot of weight.Anybody Agree?

Meaning of Marked Towing Capacity on Bumper of RV

Hope somebody can help with this.The Maximum Towing Capacity on my 32ft Class A IS marked as 3500 lbs.Tongue Wt 300 lbs. I would like to tow a Vehicle heavier than this if Possible My Question is Two Fold A.....Is the 3500 lb Maximum based on the Braking Capacity of the Fully Loaded Tow Vehicle?? B.....And if yes to the Above.......would Electric or Surge Brakes on the TOWED VEHICLE allow me to Exceed the 3500?? If No.......then on what exactly is the 3500 lbs based on please?? Thanks in advance
