I have had TT and 5th wheels.... There is NO comparissio to the way they tow My last 5th wheel was 40' and it was so much easier to two the the last TT, a 31'er.
Passing trucks, you wont even notice high winds ... no problem, and I live in West Texas where we know a thing or two about wind! LOL
Backing is a bit different, but when you get the feel for it, you can put a 5th wheel into much tighter spaces than a smaller TT.
Motor home or 5th wheel's only for us from now on!!

I had a 2005 5th wheel with an Onan 5500 GAS, built in and loved it.
The onan is quite, relaiable and the way we use our RV gas is much better for us, We camp in the infield at NASCAR events and are there from Tueday till Monday. the 5er had a comaprtent with 2, 6 gal. platic "Boat" type gas tanks I bought 4 extra tanks the we would fill before intering the track, No need to break camp or try to go find LP gas and lug the heavy bottels around.
Gas would be my suggestion because it is much easier to be ready for extended stays and to re-fule.

I would trust Ebay before some of the other sites.
I found a 2003 Monaco Signature last year on anouther site Looked like new 45' quade slides all the bell s an whistles. It was listed for 85K..... Way Way cheep for this coach.
I called the guy, he wanted me to put the money in an Amaxon escrow account untill i picked up the coach, I told him I would fly to him and inpect it and I would then, give him a cashires check for it, he then hung up on me and i quickly went to the site with the ad, and it had been removed fro the web site...If a deal sounds too good to be true.... Never vever transfer ANY money until you lay eyes on it.
That said ebay has much better ways to check up on sellers with all the feedbacks. And i have bought and sold lots of things, Cars and truck and classic cars too and have alway had good luck with ebay.

well, i just checked that chart, no it looks like a no go..... bummer it would have been nice to have both my toy and my wife's toy, along on trips, Any one have a good deal on a jeep??

towing an Escalade AWD ??
trying to find out "for sure" if I can tow my wifes Escalde all wheel drive, The book says we can, but my RV salesman said evryone he knows that has done it ended up with transmision peoblems.
Anyone know foe sure?

I think a big Seattle Mariners decal would look nice front or rear and possible on the side as well.
That may lower the value of his RV!! uh... is it 15 or 16 losses in a row now::o) GO RANGERS!!

Well... Nothing, We just bought our first class A and won't take delivery untill Wednesday, Then... LOTS and LOTS of unpacking the 5th wheel and re-packing all the "stuff in the Beaver!!......I can't wait to get started!!

It is a 2002 but the tires were replaced in late 07, with 295's. And i tend to agree, the wood work is great!!
we have looked and looked and looked, and this coach looks like new inside and out.
all info is greatly appriciated!

I did do as much "homework as i could about them all thyps and makes, I found a great deal on this one (10K below wholesale). And while I have many buddies and my parents who were a big help with info, I don't know anyone who owns a Beaver, Motly Monoco coaches ect. So just looking for folks that "Know a thing or two about Beaver"
Everything ive been able to learn points to them making a quality coach ... just looking for some first hand info.
