RE: Pillows don't help

On our first MH the front of the seats where broke down and gave no support so we had the same problem. I put in new seats to fix the problem. I found some in one of the auto swapper type mags at not to bad a price. World of difference.

RE: When first time snowbirding.....

We started by vacationing in FL for a few years before we retired to get a general area picked out. The only problem is we still like the same areas but there are fewer campgrounds to pick from. Some changed hands and some where bought up by developers. Been retired 5 years now and this is the first year we will be staying in one place for the winter. Not sure if we will be happy being in the same spot that long but will see. We are always looking at other places to stay. Hope this helps

RE: Florida Thunderstorm Warnings - awning in or out ?

Getting up at 2 AM to put the awning in is not fun, Better to be safe then be without.

RE: Considering full-timing with 6 kids... are we nuts?

Sure it would be a great thing in your kids lives but sadly I think it is a bad idea. Kids have a lot of needs and some of them you cant have in a moving RV. Kids need to be stable in a place to live and need there friends, a place to play,School and sports. If you had just one or two kids near the same age I might think it would work for short term but six over 10.5 years is to much. That is just my opinion. Best of luck to you what ever you decide.

RE: Get rid of the tips!

The tips are there and not going anyplace. Over the years I have been coming to this site it has had many changes and the only thing was really bad was when the site was down. There will be more changes, That's just the way it is, If not then we would only get three B/W channels on the TV and there would always be something to watch.

RE: new system on forum

I on the other hand don't have a problem with the Tips. When I visit you house I will not complain about your decor. We do visit hear, Sometimes to often and am glad it is hear. I have seen many pay sites I do not use and that would be the case if this where a pay site. It would soon die.

RE: Good time to buy used class a?

If you are looking to buy from a dealer, Sure it is a good time but most private owners would have them put up for the winter. I think you will find a bigger selection during the rv season.

RE: I need some advice and ideas.

Put some water in the fresh water tank and use it then dump and winterize. Years ago I had a 5th wheel that had exposed tanks and the fresh water was inside. Took that 5th wheel deer hunting many years sometimes well below 0 and never had a tank or water problem. Keep a cabinet door open so heat can get to the pipes and you should have no problem.

RE: Vinyl plank flooring in RV?

I have not used the peel and stick planks but years ago we had a cabin and I installed peel and stick tile. The cabin was unheated most of the winter and was used in heavy use area and we never had a problem with it peeling op or spreading. I am planing on using the peel and stick planks when I take carpet out of MH.

RE: My Battery - this winter

Your battery should be just fine where it is. No need to keep it plugged in. If you lived in the north I might remove it but even then it would be fine.
