I would advertize the current coach for sale for the price you want and see what the response is...there may be a buyer out there that wants just what you want to sell..Just dont buy the new coach till the old one sells..

Bull feathers..call ONAN and get an area rep....5500 onan gold is famous for CONTROLER going bad..if the brushes were bad the Motor side of generator would work fine...

Bought ours on E-bay..just made the deal with the condition that I would pay to re-list Item if I was not happy with condition..owner accepted a 500 dollar deposit and I got on a plane and flew to Dallas with a certified check...turned out to be a very good deal. paid 65k for a Motor home at the time low NADA was 20 grand more....

Very happy with (5yrs) Progressive..had a claim for towing last year for 500 bucks..they paid in 5 days...I have 100o dollar deductable and 80k value on coach..cost 485.oo @ year...Motorhome is not financed so maybe that helps..

I have a Expedition rear radiator...
I went to Dollar store and bought 6 dollars worth of Awesom, put the detergent in a hudson sprayer, took engin cover off and soaked the cooler,radiator and fan with cleaner..had to go underneath and do some spraying so I could get everything soaked thew the Fan...have some old clothes for next part..put the highest pressure nozzle on the hose and run threw a window and wash the oil out , then place motor cover on and do same threw bottom..then go rear of motor home and wash out radiator...I did this to my Expedition and the Motorhome never ran over 1/2 way on the guage since...sorry to be long..

I was hopeing with 373.s and 2 wheel the MPg.s would be better at Interstate speeds 70-75...Like I said towing MPGs doesnt matter

08 ford Supercab diesel MPG
I dont know how it happend but ended up getting a 08 Supercab 2x4 373's 6.4 Ford diesel. I wont be useing it to tow all that much But both my Kids have 5th wheels and I suspect that one of them will use it a few times a year..
What kind of real wold MPG am I looking at..75mph on Interstates on cruise and some aroud town driving..I dont care about towing MPG..

We have been stuck in the sand a time or two..I learned a tick from another guy that carried old carpet rolled up into like 12ft pieces..just jack the rig up put carpet under wheels and drive out...so far so good...

We had a Tropical (22000lbs) with the 5speed/300 cummins and I had no complaints about power..pulled Tracker toad Coast to Coast and averaged 8.4mpg at 62mph.

Check relay/ and clean all connections to fuel pump...if it still has a long crank time its going to need a fuel pump...

Maintiance and repair on a Diesel chassis motorhome is more expensive than a Gasser.
Cummins suggest change oil at 15k miles OR ONCE A YEAR so if you travel 5k miles a year it would even cost more for oil changes.
My motorhome is an 04 XCA chassis and its been a real learning curve when it comes to maintiance and the cost. Much more than my F53 chassis gasser and I do all my own maintiance..
