I am considering an Open Road 31 foot fifth wheel
Does anyone have any coments on them?
We have never owned an RV but plan to do a lot of traveling as we about to retire.
We are also cosidering a 30' Cedar Creek and are trying to make the best decision we can so we arent looking to trade in a year or so.
Any help would be appreciated.
I will be pulling the unit with a 2004 GMC Sierra with a Duramax

Here are my facts, take them or leave them. I don't pull punches.
We bought a new "Open Road" 5er (360rld) in March. The thing had a lot of problems. Pilgrim, the manufacture, worked with us the whole time. I was allowed to take it to my local repair shop (the dealer was several hundred miles away), but due to some of the problems it was picked up by the factory and returned to me. It still had some problems so guess what Pilgrim did. They built me a brand new 2004 (the old one was a 2003). NO MORE MONEY CHANGED HANDS!
I have used the new one and it is great! None of the problems that the old one had. I could not be more impressed with a company! I would buy a new one again if this one was destroyed. Pilgrim is a great company to work with.
I was informed that the old one was one of the first units built. They have worked out the problems now.
Just my 2 cents.
