Not personally. Friends have bought from them and well...let's just say the next one won't be bought there. NOW, they are a very large dealership. At some point they MUST have made someone happy or they wouldn't be in business. Personally I like a smaller hometown type dealer where you are a customer, not a number. Good luck.
There are 24 hours in every day - it all depends on how you choose to use them.

Yes, indeed. We bought our present coach from them at their Syracuse location. Their prices are excellent, their service is S L O W. Since you are in Connecticut, service might not be an issue, but we are ten minutes away from them.
As with all dealers, salesmen are important. Ours, Mike Weinerth, was a good guy.
We bought our coach used and it was immaculate upon receipt and the walkthrough was clear and leisurely. They do a nice job with those kind of things - at least they did in our case.
PM me if you want more specific information.

Good evening! We bought our '03 Damon Daybreak from Meyers RV in Bath, NY. Meyers has grown over the past almost 40 years from a small place in Caledonia, NY to now a BIG (don't have any numbers to go with that word) dealer with several locations in Western and Central NY. We actually bought our RV at a show in Corning, NY. Our salesman was from another Meyers store. He was knowledgeable and worked with us as we went through the final stages of our decision process.
We have been to their Bath shop a couple times for some warranty work. It has been completed as promised. Biggest complaint on our part is just the distance from our home in far Western NY to the nearest Meyers store.
I think they are doing a big store in Hamburg, NY (just south of Buffalo) which will have an inside showroom and I believe there is a Camping World under development in either the same place or close by.
We are planning on working through process of getting our RV and PT Cruiser toad set up for some serious travelling this summer. I will be working with Meyers with respect to getting everything set up to go. I will be asking them for an estimate on doing the work.
Had the RV out of the parking space earlier today. Just to give it some fresh air. We built a Coverit enclosure late this fall.
Happy Holidays from Western NY.

We have bought two fifth wheels from them. They have great prices (but VERY high pressure tactics).
I was very dissatisfied with their service. I probably won't buy there again (I said that last time, too!).

When my grown kids were inspecting our new fifth wheel, one asked why we bought a trailer that sleeps 4. My reply was that we couldn't find one that sleeps 2!

We are looking at buying a fiver next year and, of course, we hit all the shows. Meyers is the biggest dealer around here but not the only one. They also have the most shows and are expanding their operation to a much larger showroom and Camping World store. I am not very impressed w/some of their sales reps. Most of the ones I spoke with are professional salespeople and not RV'ers. They know the product specs. but not about actually living in it. They really push the glitter and not the actualy workings of the unit. I'm sure there are some really knowlegible people there. I just have to find them....

We bought our Winnebago Adventurer from them in 97. It spent most of that summer with them. Their service is not very good. We have yet to have a pleasant experience with them. One year we took it in to have everything checked out once we took it out of winter storage. Had them do everything, paid them after they reviewed the bill with my husband and ended up getting another bill because they had billed something to our old address. Finally after writing a letter to the owner it was taken care of. Last summer we took it in for a scheduled appointment re oof leak. It took them weeks to fix and only after repeated phone calls and finally telling them we wanted to use it was the work done.
Sales people are not customer friendly nor do they seem to care about after the sale work. We wanted to look at a Forest River, were told by the company Meyers was a dealer. When we stopped by the Caledonia store, the sales person had NEVER heard of the RV and didn't know they sold them, but told me he'd be glad to order me one. (I explained we wanted to LOOK at one and see how they looked, etc.)
They are huge in NY state now and I'm not impressed with their sales department at all. I would be hard pressed to buy from them ever again.

Topic: New York RV Dealership

Does anyone have any experience in dealing with Meyers RV Superstore in upstate New York? Thanks in advance for your experiences.
If you want some info on Myers RV in Hamburg, contact me. I spend more time there than in my motor home, it was gone so long I forgot what it looked like.
Talk about pass the buck.
I wouldn't buy there again, or any of their stores if i had to walk.
They are right around the corner from me,( 5 minutes ), and I have another dealer right on the corner of my street that I should have bought from, but they didn't have what I wanted, so I went to Meyers, and got the " RIDE OF MY LIFE", but not on wheels.
Do yourself a favor and save yourself some time and money and saty away from them.
It got so bad, that at the show in the AGRA CENTER I had the salesman in the corner, with no space between us. There were quite a few potential customers listening to our conversation.
Enough said, sorry for venting.
If you want a complete list of the problems I had there, I will Email you.
I hope your mail box is big enough.

I have used Meyers RV service at the Bath, NY Store.
I been pleased with all the work they have done so far.
I didn't buy either of my two MHs from Meyers but it didn't matter....they took good care of me the two times I used the service there.
They worked around my schedule for my service since I'm self-employed. All the work was excellent...
Never dealt with a salesman there...so I couldn't comment on that.

We purchased fron Meyers in Syracuse. Salesman was great...but that's where it ended. Service is horrible..our motorhome was damaged while in for service(someone ran into the back of it, doing considerable damage, service never completed when promised...arrogant and unconcerned management. We finally traded with another dealer just to be rid of them. Never again, my money is better spent elsewhere.
