Hi all: I have a 2000 Citation Camper that has a stain "in" the linoleum in the corner of the kitchen. The culprit was a soggy paper towel with "fresh water antifreeze" that fell on the floor some time aqo. I've tried everything I know of short of laquer thinner to no avail. Stain is still there and it's PINK! Any help would be greatly appreciated. It wouldn't bother me so much, except the rest of the camper is immaculate.

That sounds like a tough one. If it's on the surface I'd try a paste of Oxyclean type product. It's amazing what that stuff can get out. If it soaked in....well a throw rug might be your solution.
Hope this helps a bit.

I suspect that the stain is caused by the water getting under the lino- I have had problems like this in the past and it is not a stain but a deteriation of the lino from underneath-- sorry but a partial or complete replacement may be your only option.

You could try a bakeing soda paste with a little lemon juice. Mix into a paste and let it stand. This type of stain is hard to remove as it is a dye. As mentioned above you may have to put in a partial or complete replacement.

I had what sounds to be, the same thing in my lino at my house in florida when I was stationed there. I too tried everything to remove it. It was a pink stain that was under the protected plastic part on the lino. It was going to move until I removed all of the linolium and replaced it with tile. I don't think you're going to be able, from what it sounds like, to remove the stain without removing the lino and replacing it.

My toy hauler floor is stained from dripping motorcycles. Once its soaked in the linoleum, I don't think it will ever come out.

I had a pink stain from Kool-Aid on my kitchen floor once. Nothing would remove it. Then I used Soft Scrub with bleach, let is sit for a while, wiped it up and repeated until the stain went away. I was worried about the bleach causing the floor to discolor which is why I kept repeating it in small increments. I couldn't believe it worked. It might be worth a try.

The "stain" is mildew. You cannot remove it. Check the floor underneath for rot. Replace the damage.

No, it is not mildew nor a water leak. By your own admission you spilled a paper towel with Fresh Water Antifreeze and it stained the linoleum. Unfortunately, as other responders have stated, it is a dye that has permeated into the vinyl covering and probably can not be removed. Trying some of the above methods of removal may help, but most of all, NEVER use "solvents" on a linoleum floor. You could totally ruin a new floor real quick. You may have to just live with it. Good luck.
