The RV I bought has a relatively new A&E main awning replaced 3 years ago but all the window awnings (3) are original and look it. The hardware is fine and I'm wondering if anyone has just replaced the awning fabric itself instead of going to the expense of reinstalling all the new hardware. If so, where did you get the replacements and how much was it? Thanks in advance!

Any upholstery or boat cover shop should be able to do it. Go for the acrylic. It lasts forever. The drawback is that you will be limited to a solid color. In the back of Motor Home magazine or the Good Sam rag there is sometimes an ad from a place that sells replacements. There is a guy that shows up at Quartzsite every year who does a main awning for two bills.

Camping World has replacement fabric for window awnings in catalog. Might even be able to match your newer full awning. I have the same situation but haven't gone beyond looking at replacements in the catalog. Doesn't appear that it would be too difficult to replace them. Good Luck.
