Has anyone added a UV cover to their awning or replaced the fabric?

The reason I ask is I noticed a couple of spots where the awning is developing holes right along the edge up against the trailer. This is the area that is always exposed to the sun and weather when rolled up. It's a A&E Sunchaser that is about 4 years old.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Brad

if it is starting to get holes, the fabric is all probably on its last legs and I would replace it. that is one reason I got awnings with the aluminum part that covers them when stored.
