We will be in Parkersburg WV area in two weeks and cannot find a RV Park of any kind. The Civitan Park in Marietta, OHio has been washed out by the flood and I haven't been able to contact the Marietta RV Park by phone. Does anyone have any info where we might located for four days with hookups.

Unfortunately the entire town of Marietta was under water just a few short weeks ago (almost 45 feet above flood level). You may have the same problem with any campground in the river valley.

Hi,
I live very close to Parkersburg....Rivers bend was under water....Carthage is about 25 miles southwest of Marietta; but probably your best bet....I have not been there; but have heard others on here say it isnt to bad. Marietta was a total mess with the flood; as was our area around here...Carthage sits up away from the river and no way for it to flood; but again its a ways from Marietta; but off the 4-lane of Route 50/7 Between Athens and Coolville.
Not sure how far you are wanting to go....We definitely need a nice campground in this area!!...Most are seasonal and along the river...
If I can help anymore; let me know;
Take care and Good Luck!
