Good Morning,

Great idea!

If o.k., please advise how I could work on possibly
setting up an "Eastern Canada" affiliate in the future.

Thanks,

Barry.

Isn't Manitoba Western Canada? I guess "WCCC" doesn't sound as nice.

I am from Manitoba and last time I checked Manitoba, is in Western Canada. Ever since the CFL ran short of football teams and made the Bombers an "eastern" team some have gone with central rather than western for Manitoba. Personally I regard Manitoba as it always has been, part of the west.

I don't mean to be critical of your plans, sounds good and all and I wish you success, but when you refer to Manitoba as central canada there are going to be confused people. Most Canadians and Americans think of Ontario as central canada.

I think you would be more successful referring to camping in Manitoba as either Manitoba camping or if you going to include all of the prairies refer to it as Prairie or Western Canadian camping.

Calling it prairie camping would not confuse others as in the states the prairies are known as the plains, in canada the prairies are Man. < Sask., + Alberta.

Thanks for your well wishes.I guess we were thinking geography not football.I am choosing not to focus on the symantics of the name rather the fun we will have, the people who enjoy camping we will meet and possibly the lifelong friends we will make.Everyone is welcome around the campfire.
