I am in the process of buying a 2005 inspire and i had read in this forum that most folks were not to concerned with parts since most motorhomes are assembled from parts provided by other venders. With the country coach are there items manufatured excluvisly by country that i may be unable to obtain?
Thanks

With most rigs, only the front and rear caps are exclusive.

Rod Front and rear caps, cargo bay doors, sidewalls, entryway steps on some models, any interior woodwork, countertops, dash, trim pieces and cloth coverings. Some driver and passenger seats were specially made for CC too, but still might be available.

I have talked to cc numerous times over the last week trying to get a build sheet and some manuals. The parts department is shut down so I am out of luck (I am being told the info I need is locked up??)but I am being told the parts dep. should be up and running in some small capacity in a month or so. There are 2 phone gals and 2 technicians working now and that is it.

Rod, from my understanding, Country Coach is back in
business (limited production). So any part or parts
that are Country Coach specific may only be a phone call
away....

Even though the chassis is built by CC. The suspension, steering and other parts are purchased from suppliers. If you can get the suppliers name many times you can get the parts at a lower cost. I've replaced a number of parts like airbags, tie-rod ends, windshield wiper arms etc all directly from the manufacturer.
One problem area with all CC is the SE-GI windows, they lose the seal and begin to fog up. I have replaced two on my coach. Others have replaced a number of them. Not a CC part but SE-GI wont sell directly normally. The are a number of companies that will repair the windows.
You spoke earlier about a one piece roof. The Inspire does have a seam for the front and rear cap over the roof and that can leak. Earlier CC's and the higher end CC coaches have a true one piece front cap and roof and it extended over the back edge. No seams over the top. I know an owner of one Inspire that had to have the entire roof replaced due to mold from water leaks. That was replaced under warranty by CC and the owner had no more trouble that I know of.
That is a good price for an 05. I have another friend that bought an 05 Inspire in FL about 8 months ago and he paid $110,000.
Good luck there is a CC forum on Yahoo. There is some good information there if you sort through complaining about CC the company.

That's interesting because last week I sent an email to CC asking for some drawings and the build sheet for my coach and within three hours I had an email response with the information attached in PDF format.
Also, most of the chassis parts on a CC chassis are off-the-shelf from reputable vendors like Meritor, Holland, Haldex etc. I have been able to get the chassis information one would need to service the chassis from these vendor's web sites. Maybe the only CC unique parts are the rails and welded structure?

Here is the reply I recieved.
Good morning Marc . Well, for the time being I don’t have a lot of good news in regard to the coach manual and builtd sheets. My parts dept is not operating yet and they would be the ones that a manual would be ordered thru. It will be a couple weeks before they can respond to requests.
The build sheet that has the production order specs is stored in a facility off site and also for the time being, unavailable to me . Most of the equipment that the coach has been built with like appliances has a label inside the upper bath or vanity cabinet that lists model and serial numbers.
We are also awaiting a recall clearance letter from them that we absolutely need to import this coach to canada. This letter was requested a couple weeks ago and still has not arrived.
