We started "camping" in a new Pace Arrow. My DW idea of roughing it is staying at a Holiday Inn. When looking at the model MH we eventually bought at an RV show the salesman asked if we had a trade-in. I said yes, if we could get $25000 for it we would buy. Told him my trade was a "Hillary". He ask what a Hillary was. Told him it was a three man model. He laughed. Two weeks later they came down $25000 on the "Show special" price. That 1st campout was the last we saw Mom for a looooooooong time. She said her minimum camping equipment now included a 36'+ MH. and indoor plumbing. Got married then 12/16 sears tent,, 16 foot shasta and had a nessary room hahaha then van camping, tent, then popup no air in south Texas and other places. 24 foot Laton, really like that traler. 5th wheel and liked it better, Class C and really used that one, Bought a new motorhome last fall and hope to full time next spring.
