Does anyone know, if it is safe to set off a bomb in a trailer to kill the spiders?

Simple YES, meaning you don't use a REAL BOMB.

Hi,

A flea bomb works for fleas, check with your local hardware store for something that will kill the insects that you want to kill. Each can is rated for so many square feet, say 450 square feet. That is plenty for your RV.

Make sure there are no pilot lights on, and the refrigerator and hot water heaters are off, or set for electric only. Turning off the propane tank, just to be safe. You might want to shut off all the 12 volts (if you have a disconnect switch) so the propane and carbon monoxide leak detectors are not running.

Then put out some newspaper, and set off the can as directed in the instructions, leave the area, and come back 4 - 8 hours later. Let the windows stay open a while, to air it out.

Good Luck!

Fred.

If you can do it in your house I would not see what the difference is for doing it in your RV. Just follow the instructions you should be fine unless it says do not use in RV.

We've had to do it a couple times. No adverse effects. I did turn off all the gas just to be safe.

i use the one from raid, that smokes and is non-flameable. comes in 3 packs, 2 for the house, 1 for the camper. what's nice is it more a smoke, not a mist so there's no wet residue.

Deliberately introducing poison into the space we live in is not on our list of options. In my opinion that would be far more harmful than spiders.

Smoke that thing. I do not foresee any possible way to kill spiders other than a bomb.

Spiders do not groom themselves. Every pest control company I have s/w says spiders are the worst to get rid of.
