Somebody probably just wants it gone!

Or they do not have experience in selling on E-bay and know how to put on a reserve price. If I had paid over $50,000 for that RV when it was newer, and now see it is being bid at only $10,000, and still had a $15,000 loan on it, I would be sick to my stomach, unless I was really determined to have it sold, no matter what the loss.

Or it might be the other side of the RV caught fire, and well? ? ?

Or it might be there is 10 leaks in the ceiling? Who really knows,

Unless I was close enough to drive over an take a look at a RV, I would not be bidding over $1,000 on one.

I am sure you can get a great deal, I was searching the website for dune buggy, and found several. Some have a really high reserve price though. Some RV's are being sold with no reserve, hoping that someone will bid a reasonable price for it.

I saw a 87 Bluebird. I remember being a kid, and not anywhere able to afford such a RV, and thinking that the sign in the window that said "Call for appointment to see this RV" was to keep looky loo out of the RV, like me. Now the RV that was selling for $250,000 20 years ago is being bid at $10,000.

Good Luck,

Fred.

Hasn't sold yet and still has over 2 day to go. Smart eBay bidders wait until late in the auction and then place their highest bid.

Cracks me up the people who think all the world is a scam. I have bought all kinds of things off Ebay. Cars, quads, and a motorhome. I bought another motorhome sight unseen and flew to No. CA to pick up even another motorhome I bought without ever test driving the thing.

Some people trust others. Some don't trust anyone. Me, I have not had one singe issue.

I predict the price on that rig will double within the last couple of hours of the auction.

Good luck.

If you click on the sellers rating of 710 you could find where on 9/21/09 he sold much the same item for $22.400. The price went up 7K on the last day. Out of over 300 purchases I've made on Ebay I've only given three negative feedbacks on inexpensive items. Having bought a MH, three tractors, and several other expensive items, I never pay until I see the item if it's a lot of money.

Ebay protects you for all kinds of purchases
For high dollar item, if you find item is not as described
you don't have to complete the transaction.
I have had two occasions where ebay sent me shipping label
to ship the item back at buyes cost and refund me what i paid.

As far as getting a problem RV, you will have the same luck from
an individual buyer or a dealer. Once you drive out, it is yours now.
Used veh is always a gamble. If you are serious, hire a veh inspector
or do your own inspection prior to writing a check.

Trust and risk go hand in hand!
