I'll be getting a 5th wheel soon and so will be selling my 1994 Shadow Cruiser pickup camper. It is in very good condition and everything works as it should.

Does anyone know what this camper ought to be worth?

I sold my Snowbird last year for $7500 Canadian. It was in prime condition as well, and was a top end camper for it's year. Around here, campers are in high demand and to find one that was garage kept and looked almost like new inside and out despite it's age would be difficult. When I had a serious buyer, I took them over every aspect of it, showed them how to work everything inside and out, filled it with water and demonstrated the filling and draining of the tanks.

Your best option might be to look at Craig's List and see what they sell for in your area.

You could also check NADA on the net. They have RV prices. Don't know how close to reality they are.

I just bought my Weekender in October, similar year, different manufacturer, everything works and is in pretty good condition. I offered and paid $3400. That price is right in the middle of the high and low NADA values.

Maybe use a combination of info from Craigslist, NADA, RVtrader.com, and local classifieds. Keep in mind what the economy is like, and, if you want it gone, then price it accordingly. If your price is comparable to what a dealer would sell it for, you may have to keep it for quite some time.

I recently purchased a 2000 Maverick 8801 for 2700.00 (well below NADA numbers and it was from a dealer). Everything works and it's in pretty good condition. The dealer even filled up the propane, did a walk through and systems check, re-winterized it, and loaded it for me. They originally had it priced higher, but, after a year of no lookers, I guess they got tired of looking at it.

I bought a 950 Shadow Cruiser 1993 this November and paid 3K for it. Everything worked but it did require quite a lot of cleaning as mice had been in it. It was stored inside.

I had a 1991 8'Shadow Cruiser TC that was in real good condition. I bought it a few years ago for $2600 and sold it last year for $1800. Ran it on Craigs List and had only a couple of calls. The last caller was real intersted so I was able to sell it to him. I had been asking $2400, buy considering that he was the only serious caller, I was happy to get $1800 and get out of the used camper sales business. Values seem to be very subjective and have many variables, so it is really hard to fix a firm price. Basically it is whatever a willing seller is wanting to pay for it.
