With a new cat we take them everywhere in a car to get them use to a vehicle. Usually takes them a month to settle down.

In the rig when moving we keep a 6' red leash on the cat so we can easily find her. This works very well and the leash is not removed until the slides are out and reattached before slide retraction.

Our cat can jump up to the top of a closed slide. Cats just have to explore every open hole to check for a mouse!

Our crazy cat is going to miss running from room to room and up the stairs at top speed. I am reading this forum because we are going to tour America with kitty in a few years. When it gets warmer, we are going to have to train her to ride in the car often.
