Seems kind of odd. I just went looking at Google images for another 2007-2008 Roo with the fiberglass gel coat seam/joint below the front and rear bunks but I couldn't find one. Anyone else have these on your units like we used to before the factory repair?

Our 2008 Roo rolled off the line in February 2008. Our is not like the one in either of your pictures. Both the front and the rear have the smooth radius and no seam. What month did yours roll off the line?
EDIT -- Never mind I thought you had 23SS, just realized it was a 233. Disregard my comments.

No problem, Andy!
Ours was a late 2006 early 2007 model (labeled 2007) but it looks like it didn't have that seal

I haven't found a Roo out there yet with the seams ours used to have. What the heck is that all about? I looked at Chuck's photos of his 2006 Roo--no seams. None on mister d's 2007.

Not a 233, but here’s our ’08 23ss (built in July ’07). It’s got the seam.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble but FR is far from a company worth doing business with. First of all Mike Englemeyer basicly blew me off. My camper problems (listed previously) have fallen on deaf ears from FR to Mike Englemeyer and unfortunately, even action line. I spent all of last year trying to find someone who would repair the damage as a result of the manufacturing defect to no avail. My camper is still not repaired and will not be (atleast not by FR).
One person suggested that I should have taken my camper to the manufacturer instead of the dealer. I was new to this then and did not even know that was possible. I always thought that the dealer was an extension of the manufacturer and not a separate entity. How silly could I have been. As it stands now my camper damage from leaks is tremendous and has reached the thousands. My next camper, if I am ever able to get another one, will definitely not be a forest river product. They DO NOT stand behind their work. Even when it is obvious to the rest of civilization that a manufacturing/engineering/design problem exists.

So sorry to hear of your experience. What a bummer. I don't understand why your experience was so different than ours but we were definitely satisfied and I've got the spring camping fever coming on strong.

Andy F and Leaf Peeper;
Did you ever find out why you had the seal on both of your units that is not common with others??

I've never been told exactly what the issue was. Would be nice to know. I suppose I never asked FR directly but it was apparent they knew something had been done incorrectly during the period of time our unit was manufactured.
