So I'm driving West on I-40 near RDU airport, pulling my fiver in traffic doing 60 mph. An 18 wheeler and a group of cars passed me on the left. When the truck got about 3 lengths ahead of me, I notice a black object fly out from the right side of his truck, ending up in my lane. I couldn't switch lanes, but did start to brake. The object was a vinyl cover for a portable generator. Just before I ran over it, I read the lettering, "CHAMPION", on the cover.
I thought,"some poor sucker lost the cover on his Champion generator."
We stopped at JR's in Burlington. I got out of the truck, and as I walked towards the back of my TV, noticed my yellow Champion genny sitting in the bed, where it belongs. But wait, it's yellow, it's suppose to have a black vinyl cover on it! The bungy cords that secure it had slid off.
Guess who the poor sucker is? Boy, do I feel dumb...

a semi driving by can create a very strong suction on things in the back of your truck. I worked in a national store and I had a customer come from a distant town, he had just bought his son a small fridge for his college room and they were on the way to the college when a semi passed them and sucked the frig right out of the truck and it broke into a thousand pieces. He asked me if I would warranty it.

So, I'M driving West on I-40 near RDU Airport in my Brand New Jag. There is a fellow in front of me pulling a fifth wheel. An 18 wheeler and a couple of auto's pass on my left. The 18 wheeler pulls back to right lane and suddently, I notice this black object fly from under the Fifth wheel in front of me and covers my windshield. I crash and total my Jag.

Well, if someone picks up that champion cover, I hear they work great for keeping people from stealing your Honda.

I was traveling in an old military jeep up to a spot where we would offroad during the weekend. I had stopped and bought a dozen donuts for the group. I had the box of donuts sitting on the floor board between the seats. While headed north on I-5 a semi went by on the left and the box of donuts were sucked out of the jeep. I watched as the box splatted against the semi trailer and all of the donuts spilled out on to the roadway.

Funny thing though, in my rearview mirror I saw a highway patrol car stop and the two officers began scooping up the donuts. I guess the 3 second rule was in effect..... First part is true...second part not so true.
