I was traveling in an old military jeep up to a spot where we would offroad during the weekend. I had stopped and bought a dozen donuts for the group. I had the box of donuts sitting on the floor board between the seats. While headed north on I-5 a semi went by on the left and the box of donuts were sucked out of the jeep. I watched as the box splatted against the semi trailer and all of the donuts spilled out on to the roadway.

Funny thing though, in my rearview mirror I saw a highway patrol car stop and the two officers began scooping up the donuts. I guess the 3 second rule was in effect..... First part is true...second part not so true.

This topic is just too funny!!!!!

I was travelling down I-40 near RDU Airport when I saw what looked like a brand new Jag crashed in the ditch. I pulled over to see if I could help, and found this like-new vinyl generator cover. I figure it will fit my genny perfectly. Talk about luck. Who says being a good samaritan doesn't pay.

I would say this one has gone off the rails, but I never saw any rails to start with.

Moved from 5th wheels to ATC.

What gets me is the driver of the 18 wheeler did all of the work and he didn't get anything.

This thread reminds me of one about a year ago "Evolution of a forum post".

Drivers of 18-wheelers are well aware of the vortex affect. As they cruise down the nation's highways, they are always on the lookout for suckable items, especially fresh donuts. Usually working in pairs, the first trucker will pass the vehicle with the goodies in it, the vortex will suck those goodies out and another trucker right behind them will catch them in a big net. Saw a bit of poetic justice on my last trip, though. We had cleaned out the kitty kat's litter trey and placed the residue in a Dunkin' Donuts paper bag. Was gonna dump the bag in the trash on the way out, but forgot. Sure enough, an 18-wheeler passed me, the Law of Vortexiation occurred, the Dunkin' Donut bag of kitty kat poop was sucked out and caught in the net by the second trucker.
Elation and anticipated feasting on donuts quickly turned to chagrin when the trucker reached into the bag...

Sounds similar to one I saw one time. This cute blond was driving a convertible with the top down. Her grandmother was in the back seat. Neither were wearing seat belts. I heard the truckers on the CB talkin about the little cutie that was driving and setting up their little diabolical vortex scheme. Didn't turn out as they planned though. The driver had the steering wheel to hold on to . . . her grandmother had nothing; well actually she ended up holding on to that second trucker with the net.
