Does OL think you will have a problem? They can tell what sites have the issues by people comming back to the office going OOPS! I did that once near the pool and had to switch. Luckily it was not during the summer.

I tried asking them when making the reservation, all they could do was read back to me the notes on their web page about the site (which I already knew obviously). That was all the information they had.
..Hence the reason I posted the question here.

Well, in their defense: Even though OL couldn't give me the information I had hoped for about the site, reality is that they still give you tons more information about their sites (length and width, notes about tree placement, etc), than ANY other campground in that area. I'd still chose OL over the others in Myrtle Beach.

You are correct. The do try to give you all the pertinent info so you don't have an issue with you site. Sometimes our rigs fall in between the "general" measurement.
It is one of my favorite places also!

You should be ok on that site. I have seen larger rigs on those end sites under the trees. You might have to park a little off center of the site to get your slide out. BUT it is small enough I think you will be OK. You right across the street from one of 2 bathhouses in the 2000 section. They will never concrete these tree site as it is not in the plans. An arborist helps with these issues. The tree sites are protected from the conrete trucks and pads. Once you are there check all those trees out about the height of most 5ers and you will see those trees are unforgiving to the sides of campers that have been lucky enough to catch them. I have only seen it happen once while there. Guy got stopped about as soon as he hit the tree. So minor damge was done. The biggest thing is wind and rain, watch your awnings and make sure you are prepared for heavy winds or strong thunder storms that blow up and dump lots of rain water. Awning in if going to gone any lenght of time and if you are there tilt for large amounts of water run off. When we go to OLCG we stay in the 3000 section back towards the 3000 bathouse(3102 area).
have fun and enjoy your stay.
