when i suck the compresor nozzle 2 inches into the vent, and sealed the opening with a rubber gromet. the hose almost blew,which meant no aire whatsoever passed thoough.

ill check for kinks tomorrow. i have to lower one end of the tanks in order to get to the top.

with the vent at the top of our tank I don't think you will be able to hear air bubbles or get a siphon. I have read where some got tired of loosing water out of a vent with a full tank that they put a shut off valve on the vent line. Your rig was used did you see anything like a valve on the vent tube? Have you tried checking with the original owner and see if he knows whats going on? Might save you some time..

ok found the problem!! what can i do to fix it. 2 pictures are just a general shot of the tank and the one with the hose you can see the kink.

i was thinking of replacing the plastic fitting with a 90*

Yep, put a 90 into the tank should be fine, there's no flow so pressure drop isn't an issue. Can you get in there to spin in a 90?

yeah i can just barley squeeze my hand in their. so ill try the 90. hopefully i wond have to do anything else.
