With cycles and car, I'd go with an enclosed car hauler trailer. It's lockable, can stow extra stuff like your cycle gear, and no worries about dings from road grit. They come in different sizes too so you can find the weight that suits your RV.

And given the apparent price of these tandem tow dolly's, an enclosed trailer might be competitive price-wise!

With an enclosed trailer it'd sure be a lot less polishing on the HDs. That's a pretty neat trailer.

The trailer is an option but it is huge. I bought a Tandem Tow from someone on this forum. It holds two motorcycles, two ATVs, or one UTV/Golf Cart and tows a car or truck just like a regular tow dolly does. It has a front shield to protect the bikes and sits low to the ground so loading and unloading is easy...even for 500 (BMW R1200GSA) and 800 (BMW K1600GTL) lb bikes. Ours has the full size deck as opposed to the bike channels or narrow deck. Our toad is a RAV4 but we've been thinking about a truck so we can haul something else in the PU's bed. If we do this we are still well within the weight limitations of the dolly and the MH. I have plenty or storage in the MH for all of the riding gear. We've only taken two trips with the set up so far and other than the normal hassle of hooking up the tow dolly, it has been great.
