K.I.S.S.

The only challenges are the couple times a season I wash the roof.

Hand wash with a rv brush for me. Collonite #845 is the best wax for the money I can find. Use it on my center console and RV since it is great for fiberglass

his main concern was the high pressure might take off some of the decals and get by the seals around the windows and slide outs. we did not really discuss the metal sided TT's I was mainly asking him about glass sided TT's.

Gas powered pressure washers that I use will take off decals, boat numbers, caulking, and many other things. All the stream needs is to find one small loose opening and it will lift off the caulk or decal and will also put water where you may not want it. Never tried it on a RV, but use them on boats all the time. They also come with amputation warnings(yikes!) I think he gave you good advice on the pressure washer. So far I have washed (with the long RV brush others mentioned) and waxed my TT each Spring.

I'm an OCD level detailer and have spent endless hours researching correct detailing methods....especially those that eliminate the potential for surface marring, swirls, etc (on cars that is; detailing my TT is a new quest). I have a FG TT though.

I clean and protect the roof once per year, wash maybe twice per year with a microfiber mitt on a stick (I personally would never use a brush) using some Meg's Gold Class car wash, and then maybe polish and wax once per year but I don't go by hand, I use a dual action buffer. I'm still considering what products I will use in the future. I used Meg's NXT last year and it worked great but it didn't get all of the "outfall" from washing the roof and it running down the front. This year, I might try Meg's RV and Boat polish to "clean" the surface and then a pure wax as a Last Step Product. OR I might try a cleaner wax, but I want to do some more research first and ensure whatever I'm using isn't going to damage my decals.

Happy camping.
