'Rules'
You've got to be kidding...right!
You're saying that these people intentionally brought their dog over to your site so it could 'poop'.
This wasn't just an accident that happened when they came to say hello?
These people thought it was OK ?
Please tell us you were just kidding....please!
Amazing, isn't it? But you have to be initiated into the club to see those invisible lines. Otherwise it just looks like a big lawn with rvs on it.

As a dog owner of 3 (golden, 2 mini dachshund), we walked all over the RV campground with our dogs for exercise. We do pick up after our dogs and keep them on a short leash when we know they are about to do their business. I have never had anyone come into my patio area to do their business. I have had more people let their dogs come to the end of their leash into our patio area and begin to bark at us or growl. This I find unresponsible and safety factor. There are just a small percentage of irresponsible dog owners who cost us responsible dog owners so much in the world....beaches, siteseeing etc.

We have 3 chihuahuas and I have found that the pet walk areas are always far from the campsite. I can't carry all 3 of them to get to the pet walk area and when they have to go, they have to go. I always not only pick up after my dogs but carry a spray bottle with water to rinse the area they pee or poop on after picking up.
I don't intentionally allow my dogs to do their business on someone's lawn but if they can't wait, I take care of it and if the owner is outside, I apologize. Anyone who has had a small child knows that they never need to go at the appropriate time or place. dogs are no different.

Assuming you think these people intend to let their little urchins defecate on your site again... for $25, you can have some fun!
Every time the little urchins wander too close - blast them with this!! The owner's won't hear it - but the dogs sure will! I can see how you could make your site so evil and obnoxious to the dogs, that the critters RUSH past it to poop someplace quieter and more relaxing....LOL!!! And nobody but YOU will know what's happening :-)
The shriek this unit emits is somewhat directional - I carry one to ward off loose dogs while walking my own.

BTW - dogs can easily be trained to "do their business" on command and not whenever they feel like it. What do you think service dogs do!
I walk mine right down the center of the road - if they truly can't make it to the dog walk area, at least it's easier to pick up poo from a solid surface instead of grass. But when we arrive at an RV park. I walk my guys to where I want them to potty - then I tell them "go potty". They get the idea real fast - I mean, I don't want them pottying in MY space, because tomorrow, that same spot is someone else's space

In a perfect world, all dogs would wait until they got to the dog area, all owners would pick up after them, and all cats wouldn't walk all over our cars. In my world sh-- happens and I will do my best to pick it up when it does. And if your dog poos on my lawn and you don't pick it up for whatever reason, I will take care of it. Just put a flag on it or some other way for me to know so I don't step in it. Life is too short to worry about the poo in the world.
