RE: Another Solar???

Have you cleaned your camper recently. Many cleaning products will set off a CO Detecter. Ventilate to clear the reading and see what happens.

RE: Quality TC

I'd like to tell you which camper we chose but I'm afraid of getting slammed again. We do love it though.

Hey Jim, A while ago you started a thread about TC'ers offering a place to stay. I would copy that list and see how many you can find. Who needs a campgound.:B

RE: Comments on Northern Lite Campers?

I believe the OP has asked for opinions. Coveredwagon you have made yours and have blasted others for their opinion. If you can't play nice please stay home.

loggenrock Check out truckcampermagazine.com Lots of good UNBIASED info on all TC's. They do a nice job on the factory tours as well.

RE: Comments on Northern Lite Campers?

We wanted a non slide, light weight, good quality camper with decent sized tanks. I believe we have found it in our 10-2 NL. Would definitly buy another, but I doubt that will be necessary.

RE: Battery Float Chargers for deep cycle batteries

I bought a charger several years ago. It charges AGM, Gel and Wet cell. It is a 3 stage charger that starts at 30 amp and drops to 2 amp maintainer as the battery nears full charge. It also has an 80 AMP for starter batteries that are dead. It also has a reconditioner mode. I generaly run a charge on the batteris monthly and recondition once a year.

RE: Extended Cab Over on Reg Cab

All of my TC's have been ext. cabover and all my trucks have been reg. cabs. I have a shorty radio ant. and mount my EZ pass on the license plate. My GPS sits on the dash and no problems with signal.
I don't have satelite radio.

RE: 20,000 Outfitters Beneath The Sea, a submariners trip report

LOL, As usual you keep this TC forum in stitches.
On a serious note it might be time for you to get out of the heat and breath in some of our Adirondack air.

I know you specified 1 ton models, but I don't have any issues with my set up. Not saying this is the best by any means.

RE: Coldest winter in a Century coming? Store it or head south?

Living in the northeast for over 80 years I probably won't do anything different than any other year. We have learned to live with the extemes of the Adirondacks. I only look at what might come tomorrow.

RE: I am not impressed with Dometic windows or Heki skylight...!

We purchased our new camper last year. I've had the old style jalousy and then the sliders and now the new acrylic 3 position. Sure they will scratch but unless you are totally unaware of your surroundings you should not have a problem. I also like the Hieki skylight. I guess I'm in the minority here, but I would never trade back.
