RE: RV Park Recommendations in Ocala?

The former Rock Crusher Canyon Park in Crystal River is now ELITE RESORT Crystal River not an ENCORE Park. The sites sit among trees and natural surroundings yet full hookups, cable tv and wireless internet, clubhouse and screened pool.

RE: Recommended toads

The Ford Escape (automatic) is an approved dinghy tow as well. The V-6 with roomy interior and weighing about 3200lbs is worth a look. We just purchased one and just had the baseplate installed. Will be off in a week and a half on the first trip towing it. No fuses to pull either plus good directions to follow in the manual.

RE: Ocala Sun Rv Resort Fl

Elite Resorts-Crystal River (formerly Rock Crusher) has as the Texan said undergone some positive changes. The management on site is now not as fl-gypsy and klm described. Neither is the reservation policy as stiff as it was. The changes occurred after Feb 1, 2009. See the attached link for the policy. It is a natural , roomy resort with improvements continuing to be made. The Homosassa and Crystal River area is "old Florida" at it's finest. We love it there. Look into it before dismissing it as a possibility. http://www.eliteresorts.com/crystalriver/files/ercr%20rates.pdf

RE: Moonshine Creek Campground in SC

We camped there years ago. A small campground with a babbling small creek running through it. Quiet, peaceful, well maintained. We had a 30 foot travel trailer. I won't try it now in our 38 foot motorhome though. If you are looking for peace and quiet (other than the great running creek) this is it.
