It was so nice out this Sunday I decided to get started preping the TT for the season. Cover is off and batteries are in. If the weather keeps going like it is I'll flush the pink stuff out and maybe sneak a camping trip in before April :@

I've had them on a previouse vehical. They look good but that's it. They will be noisy and not a good tow vehical tire. Traction on the road in rain & snow is crap. If you buy the truck sell them to some kid and buy a good set of tires.

Last vehical was a Ford Expedition and it would squat significantly when I hooked up out TT, then I had to use the WD to level her up. Now with the Chevy 3500 the truck doesnt squate more than a 1/4" however as others are saying if you got it use it. I just lowered the tension and still get the benefit of the sway control from my Equalizer brand Hitch.

how much asbestos? do you have to hire someone to remove it? that can get expensive. maybe you can just put under layment over it then put down your new floor?
I'm with Mike, if you can legally cover (encapsolate) it it's a cheaper route. Also know that if covered you will have to disclose that it's there down the road if you sell your house.
Hang in there, if you need a break come on over for some captain at our house.

With a 30 foot TT what are some good state park campgrounds with electric sites to stay at in or near the Porcupine Mountain Wilderness State Park.

Same warnings for alligators. Keep your dogs and children close. In Florida, if there is water, there could be a gator. Don't feed them.
If you talk to the locals their comments are not "there could be a gator" but rather how many gators are in there. Staying at Disney I saw them even in the lagoons you would think are kept clear of gators.
Good advice, don't be a snack.

I'd pass. Poor filtering, no power or mpg increase.....certainly never pay for itself in fuel savings.
I second this. I've used them on past trucks and found no difference and noted some dirt passing through these filters. Save your money

Good for you Mike, that is ambitious! But if you can why not give it a go. Hosting campgrounds & volunteering helps keep the costs down. We know a couple that have been full timing it for years. They spent the past two fire seasons in California camping for free while staffing some of the volunteer posts to help the fire fighters such as feeding them when they came in for a break, and keeping the camps maintained. They've also worked at Disney in Florida during the winters, again camped for free while working on the grounds. I'm sure there must be some books out there on this stuff to help you find some helpfull hints on making this work.

Not sure about the RV show yet because of the kitchen remodeling going on plus I work that day, will go to work tomorrow & request a vacation day & hope to get it so we can go.

Also if you want to add an in bed spare fuel tank you'll want to have the long bed. To me short beds just look funny :h

The 2003+ Ford Expeditions had a very bad brake dust issue on the front sets, you could clean the rims and drive a day or two and they'd be all black again:S When I did the brakes on the one I owned I bought the Autozone store brand Ceramics and put them on front and rear. Had no squeeks and ended the dusting issue completly. Longevity not tested since I sold it about 26,000 miles later. Overall I was pleased with my choice.
