nuvi 765 T problems, do all GPS have these problems

Bought the Nuvi 765 T just before a 3 week trip. These are the problems we had and I may take it back if there is another unit that does not do the following. I updated to the newest maps but several times the routing going thru towns gave the "proper" street name to turn left rather than the Hwy Number, some of the streets were names wrong. When there were Hwys with mutliple US names, like US 385, US 25 etc. it only gave one name. It does not have high enough volume unless it is pluged in. Many times, even tho I had it set to fastest route, it tried to take us thru back streets. Is there a GPS out there now that anyone could recommend. I know this is on the lower price scale and do not want to jump up too much in price. We had an older Magellan 700 that broke and it never did any of these things. Any advise would be appreciated

?? Hwy Canadian 3 east out of Vancouver question

Is this road a Mtn road. Can a big rig travel it or is it really crooked with lots of ups and downs. My wife hates hanging over the edge. Plan on taking it as far as Lethbridge. Thanks, John

RE: ??s about the BC Ferry and taking Pets across

Thanks for the information. We checked on this years ago and I thought the pets had to be locked in a room in a cage, so this is good news. We do not know where we are going, just decided to head that way and make Victoria our goal. This will be the first trip we have not planned so far in advance so I will be scrambling for recommendations on where to stay and what to see.

??s about the BC Ferry and taking Pets across

We want to go to Victoira Island, which means we would have to take the Ferry across. Will someone tell me what happens to the pets, do you use your own cage, we have two small dogs and a cat. Thanks, Lana
