RE: Sorry, No Pick-up campers

One of the "resorts" was in Spring Tx and the other in The Woodlands on Rayford Road. We are visiting family in the area. We prefer the govmt. parks but there are none nearby. We like the convenience of the pick-up camper for traveling as snow birds from the northeast to the southwest every year.
Would that have been Trinity Oaks (springoaksrvpark.com)? They only advertise that no tents are allowed. Or Raeford Crossigs, they too only exclude tents and both are in Spring Tx.
The only Woodlands that I find is on Firehouse Rd, in Conroe.
I did find Rayford Crossings on S. Plum Creek, right off Rayford Rd, down in the Woodlands, who exclude tents.
I did not find anyone that excluded Truck Campers.
If we get the right culprits, maybe some communications with Woodalls to let them know that these listings are incorrect might shake these arrogant a55holes up.
It seems pretty petty that someone looking for a place to get a nights rest at an RV facility can't come in for safety. I wonder if a discrimination lawsuit might wake up some of these people who only want multimillion dollar rigs. It also seems like a violation of the inn keepers act in most states, for discrimination ... of sorts.
It is just not right, I tell ya ... it just ain't right.
Rayford does not allow TC's.. We fixed their wagon last year.. We went down and stayed at Rayford with a Toy hauler with 12 people in it to attend a wedding... It was great. When we pulled in most of the snobs in there Big class A's went in and locked the doors..

Geeze there's a lot of advice on here... Please don't blame Jim for taking advantage of my situation.. Jims a friend... and if he can fix it up for his son...the money means very little to me.. I would never try and sell something that I know has this type of problems... Following that rule..I sleep very well at night.

RE: 99 Lance 820 ready for the Dump

It's a shame.. Everything inside is in gr8 shape.. Fridge, stove, microwave, furnace, awning. Even the electric jacks are in good shape.. I did put an ad on craigslist to see if anyone would haul it away..

99 Lance 820 ready for the Dump

It's amazing just how fast neglect and a little water can destroy a camper.. I went out yesterday to get the camper ready to go on a trip and noticed a little staining along the bottom of the front window on the inside. It’s pretty easy to see that the wood is decayed and it would be a major repair.. It’s a shame to haul this to the dump but I’m not up to working on it… Before you yell at me for not keeping up with the caulking..I had a major heart attack 2 years ago and yesterday was the first time I’ve been out to see the Lance. It’s been fun here..

RE: Lance 820 plumbing problem

Yes it is. Wife remembered that about 5 minutes after I posted... Just can't figure out why the hot water tank blew up sitting on Galveston Island, Tx all winter...
