DSandland pretty much sums it up. If you want close proximity to the water it should suit you just fine. If you want something a little "cleaner" I would suggest Buckskin Mountain State Park. This is a gorgeous, clean campground. Even though it is not on Lake Havasu (30 miles south) it IS right along the banks of the Colorado River. I've been going there once/twice a year for the past 8 years and I look forward to every trip. Hope this helps.
