RE: Nerf Bars

Thanks All for the input. I ordered the Raptor 5" Magnums tonight. I was going to go with the Ionic ones but the more I thought about it the more I liked the heavier duty Raptors for only $30 more. The best part, when I called to clarify the part number they had on the web site, the guy asked me if I wanted to order and I said I would just do it from the web site. He said if I ordered then I could get another $30 off which actually put it at the same price as the Ionic ones so I really didn't pay anymore than I originally planned on spending. Plus free shipping in about 5 days. So far so good.

RE: Nerf Bars

Thanks everyone. I think I'm going to give them a shot. They look good and fit what I need.
Any experience with Runningboardworld.com?

RE: Nerf Bars

Also, has anyone ordered through Runningboardworld.com? How are they to deal with?

Nerf Bars

Ok so I need to change my signature because the 2002 Chevy has been replaced with a shiny new 2012 Silverado Crew Cab!!! Love it and can't wait to try towing with it. Anyway, I'm in the process of adding some modifications to it such as Nerf Bars. I have been looking at a set of Ionic 5" Oval polished stainless steel bars but I haven't found much as far as reviews on them. Does anyone have the Ionic bars and if so, what's your opinion? The other brand I was looking at was the Raptor bars. I like these 2 because they have the polished end caps as well.
Thanks in advance.

RE: Electric Awning and Controlling Rain Runoff

The dumping feature on mine works pretty well but when I have wanted to control which end it dumps from I have put a tie down strap to the wheel rim and pulled it down a little bit, works fine. I don't leave it set that way though, only do it when it's raining.

RE: Spree 318BHS

I have a 2008 and it's held up well so far. I had some minor warranty work done but really, it wasn't anything I couldn't have done myself easily. The room inside is absolutely great, especially if you are stuck inside on a rainy day. We like the Entertainment Center on the '08 (which I think they changed) where you can flip the TV from the main area to the bedroom. Same opinion on the awning, it would be nice if it tilted but the electric feature has it's advantages too. Overall, I would buy it again in an instant.

RE: TV Antennae Boot Loose

I just fixed mine a couple of weeks ago for the same problem and used some pure silicone adhesive, put it on there pretty good. Seemed to work but since I just did it only time will tell.
