RE: Hauling Electric Club Car Precedent Golf Cart

If you've ever been to a NASCAR race and seen the drivers motor coaches coming or going from the track you will see that they ALL tow a 1/2 ton crew cab pickup with a golf cart in the bed. That dictates the longest bed length would be about 6.5'. Whatever manufacturer they drive for will determine the brand of the truck. That means Ford, Chevy, Dodge and Toyota. As far as I can tell they all use the tail gate down to support the rear of the cart. I haven't been close enough to one to determine if there is any additional reinforcement or what they use to winch the cart into the bed. 		F350OilBurner 03/24/12 09:03am Class A Motorhomes

RE: Question about Lance 1181.

It is a tight fit but entirely possible to do in the original 1181. I'm not sure if it would be possible in a 2012 1181 though. I was reading on the Lance website that they claim the slide is six inches deeper. If true that would put it almost against the bathroom wall and the counters when retracted. That would make it nearly impossible to get through without bumping the slide out a little bit. Maybe someone can confirm or deny this. I personally have not seen a 2012 model.
