RE: New Lance Fiberglass Front Cap

If you order your Lance with a fantastic fan above the bed instead of the Hyki hatch then your very likely to never get a leak in your bed.

RE: New Lance 1191 and Pulling Trailer

I have a 2011 1191 and had a tow beast installed on my 3500 Dodge for towing my trailer,it was a piece of mind decision with such a long 48" bar needed.I did tow for years with a 48" bar in the 2" reciever with no issue's but age caught up with me (worry more)so I sprung for the cost.

RE: Rain gutters

Lance also installs them at the factory you can buy the same thing at some rv stores. They do a very good job of shooting the water well away from the camper.

RE: Lance Campers - new floor plans

After giving it some thought I think he counted the tent option on the 1191 as a slideoutroom.

RE: Lance 1191 - Dump Valve Access

I agree with that cord it should be long enough to plug into the genny outlet and another cord could be stored somewhere else.I had the same thing with my 1181 its a pain to drag it out that hole then force it back in.

RE: Mexican Fuel

I,m pretty sure your still out of luck with the fuel, never heard of many stations that carry the ULSD down there.I wouldn't put the LSD in that year of truck it might cause some problems you don't need.

RE: Ascent TC

Is that a new company getting into the market I never heard of them, anyone is taking a big chance getting into the rv market these day's.Lance and AF most likely hold 80% of the market with the off brands sharing the rest.Good luck to that company they will need it.

RE: Lance isolator recall question

I got my new separator today when I unhooked the bad one in Oct.I didn,t pay attention to which wire went on which post.Does the wire from the Lance plug go on the post closest to the separator or on the other post.If I knew which batteries were main and which were auxiliary the diagram shows this. There are no labels on any of the 2 wire but I can see the one coming from the truck plug.

RE: Adding a bit of insulation

I forgot to say I only went as high as the headboard so its not visible all you see is the headboard. Also the board is at least 10 yrs old it came from a parkmodel they used it in the windows to keep the summer sun out.

RE: Adding a bit of insulation

I put 1/2 in of the same polyiso under the mattress and up behind the headboard of the bed in my 1191.Behind the headboard and up the front wall seem like cold spots in the camper maybe not much insulation there.I taped the edges and used a clear tape to seal it against the wall so no condensation can get behind it.On one cold nite it did condensate behind the headboard before I added the board but last nite cold and no moisture at all and warmer on the bald head.If someone thinks its a bad idea then it will come out easily.
