I have two Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers and the shedding of a Golden Retriever is like night and day compared to my two dogs. I took care of their dog for 5 days while they went to Mammoth. OMG the fur balls are all over the house, fur on the coffee tables, fur every where. Their dog gets groomed short and they also use a fumigator. I believe you have to live with it.

The question that comes up now is what happens when the commercial power fails? The security/dial-out setup would have to have a battery backup. Perhaps you should look at a generator autostart setup as an alternative. The Onan Energy Command units are very interesting. They are designed to start the generator when the HVAC system calls for power and can be optioned to work only if commercial ac power is not present.
Were thinking about getting the Onan Energy Command. We spend a lot of time in Palm Springs and it's been a big worry leaving the dogs inside the motorhome. A few years ago an rv'er lost their dog and a parrot because of the air conditioning shutting off because of a small power outage.

I am trying to understand. What does this radio do for you that you can't do with your iPhone? I have a $20 bluetooth stereo adapter connected to my stereo and stream internet radio via iHeart Radio (free), Pandora (free) and PBS stations (free).
Pandora is terrific. Ry Cooder is one of my favorite stations.
I get all my stations from Radio Time I believe there's 100,000 plus stations. Its kind of nice because I get local stations that I normally can't pickup with the radio like Los Angeles and San Diego.

RE: Best Foods (Hellmans) Mayonnaise
Just to make sure I wasn't crazy, I went home and looked at the container again - it says very plainly NO REFRIGERATION NEEDED.
I will continue to refrigerate, as I don't want to chance it and I don't like warm mayo.
That's strange. My Best Foods Mayonnaise said refrigerate after opening. I would call customer service and see whats going on with there products.

I'm surprise feline herpes goes away on its own. My mother had herpes in one eye when she was little girl and back then they cauterized the eye which led to some vision loss. Today if she gets it, its eye drops 24/7 around the clock until the herpes is gone. I guess if it's not control it could spread behind the eye and perhaps the brain and more vision loss. Thank goodness she doesn't get it that often.

What makes me upset with groomers is some don't tell you if they nicked your dog or burned them with the shaver. Charlie was burned by a shaver on his back and they didn't tell me about it. I noticed it 5 days later when a red triangle appeared and his skin was black underneath the triangle. It took close to two years for his hair to get back to a normal color. It was a popular place for your pet to get groomed but the owner retired and her daughter took over.

What Gives on Recreation.gov?
I know about the 6 months in advance reservation system and the eastern time zone to book reservations. This morning at 6:30 I was preparing to book a trip for the 14th on my laptop. Well, I missed out because apparently I didn't think they would open till 7:00 a.m. Pacific time zone. They opened up earlier for reservations. What's the rules? I'm trying to get a straight answer. Should I try tonight at 9:00 P.M.,that would be 12:00 eastern time zone or midnight or my guess anytime in the early morning hours, just keep hitting the button. It's a popular campground and I know there's two spots open on the 15th. I'm trying to get one out of the two.

Right now the only things I give my dog is Heartguard, Comfortis, a couple of treats a day, and a lot of loving along with better quality dog food.
Comfortis and Heartguard is what I give my dogs. I notice Charlie doesn't itch as much with Comfortis. Actually he's allergic to fleas and I think it works better than Frontline for him.

I smashed my last HP on the sidewalk between house and TH.
Very satisfying.
I wish my son would throw his emachine over the decking. Yesterday he brought over his laptop for me to take a look at it. What a mess, I don't understand why everything has to be so complicated. I told him to get rid of it because of the money he would have to put into it.
