RE: Replacing fan with Fantastic fan

What i didn't see anyone address is the warranty! Fantastic Fan is a Lifetime. I have had a couple of minor things on mine go like the fuse holder fell out and was lost. New one in the mail next day. No questions asked. Cant beat that. Mine are now 6 years old and still going strong.

RE: Raptor Decal peeling due to sun after 3 years

I took a couple off my RV right after I bought it and now 6 years later you can still see the spot where the graphic was in just the right light, it sat on the dealer lot for about 8 months. California hot sun!

RE: PSD won't take a jump

I'm one of those ram guys, using the oem batteries in my Dodge, I know my time is sure getting limited, but still using the original batteries! Hope to get into 2012 with them though, when I can better afford to replace them

RE: Sucker born every day

This sounds like me with my first TT, but i started much lighter, I bought a 200 aljo with a 3600 lb dry weight, and 5000 gvwr. I pulled it great on flat ground, but come to the hills, it was a dog! I actually pulled it up some very significant grades on a regular basis and it did the job at 35 mph, but was right at the overheat stage with a tranny cooler installed. I finally after about a year found a diesel 3/4 ton ford and never looked back. Now with a 5er and a newer Dodge Diesel I love the new 5er more! Just look for the bargain truck, they are out there, you just have to find them.

RE: Cornering with a travel trailer

I have a 3 inch scratch in my Fiberglass from a very tight circle loop of a campground that a post was not firmly buried and when the wheels hit it, knocked it right into the passenger side of the trailer. First ouch and one I still watch to this day. No major damage, just a scratch that reminds me every time I see it, but it is dark enough to stick out very easily! Didn't break the fiberglass, but probably as close as you ever want to get! So always go slow and look at both sides very carefully!

RE: led night lighting

I did something similar but only in the bathroom, tying into the Fart Fan, I added an LED light and switch on the roof which provides ample light for the late night potty break and not wake you up brightness.

RE: what would you do!!

if this is a 2012 I would vote for send it back to the factory for adequate repairs. This is the only way I would be happy!

RE: Lubing axle bearings

Having worked at an RV Dealership for a couple of years, we never recommended using the lube fittings, always disassemble, inspect and install new grease on clean bearings. This is what I have done for probably 10 years or more now and never had a bearing problem. Do mine about every other year.

RE: Will a 2001 1500HD crewcab pull my 18ft travel trailer ?

5000 is the normal weight stamped for the bumper hitch spot, If the truck has a receiver under the bumper the tow weight will be much larger.
