RE: frame issue

Didn't post model/make but if it's a Weekend Warrior they did have problems with thin metal tongues and frames on certain years. See the sticky on top of forum for the WW.

RE: WW FS2500 Tire Suggestion

Although I don't have an FS, I do have an LE and I replaced the WW supplied tires with Maxxis 225/75/15R E's. So far they have been excellent, they have been on around 6 months now. The rims are stock steel chrome WW rims and have not had problem with running 80 PSI in them. Make sure you use steel valve stems too. One other route is to replace the 15" rims with 16's and get a better choice of tires.

Do I have to modify the existing holes?

We give up,....do you ??:E
But IMO, outside speakers should be outlawed !
I know, you didn't ask for my opinion,....sorry:E
But IMO, Blue Hairs should be outlawed in the TH forum !
I know, you didn't ask for my opinion,....sorry:R
Be sure to check the space behind the speaker to allow room for a larger magnet too.

RE: Forest River Toyhaulers

And speaking of WEEKEND WARRIOR, I talked to the parts guy today to purchase something I needed and he told me that they are real close to starting their production line again. Which is good news for all the Warrior guys who have been out of work. Let's hope they make it. Well, that's not quite true, WW is dead and gone (everything was auctioned off). A new company, Warrior Lifestyles has risen from the ashes of WW but is not producing a full line of trailers yet. They have started serviceing/repairing WW trailers though. I did see the new trailers that they are going to build but right now the they are going to produce only bumper pulls with a very small line up to choose from.

RE: Fuel

I have been wondering about this too, as I have seen stickers for LSD on pumps.
I did some searching and found this from Fueleconomy.gov/Feg/lowsulfurdiesel
"Most diesel pumps in the U.S., and all in California, currently dispense ULSD. However, since retailers can still sell regular LSD until 2010, new diesel owners should be careful when purchasing fuel.
"Pumps dispensing ULSD must be labeled as such (except in California)."
So I would say most have already made the change, since it wouldn't be economical for the refiners to produce 2 types of diesel with 2010 just around the corner. Probably just old stickers that weren't removed.

RE: Satellite Setup for Weekend Warrior

Hey River&Sand,
Instead of a tripod, this setup is very lowprofile and easy to build/setup. Wind doesn't effect it...
Regards, Hamshog
This is what I bought Clicky looks pretty close.
We had a great weekend camping and we even had satellite TV.

RE: Hello,I have a truck Camper but new to 5th Wheel experience.

We did the same as some above, had a TC went to a 5th, have a Reese SS 18K hitch for the 5th wheel, removed it to load the TC, worked great. Sold the TC a couple of years ago, now wish we hadn't, would be great for quick getaways.

RE: Satellite Setup for Weekend Warrior

Got all the wiring done, got a dish and will get the Sat box today. I decided to go with a portable dish and mount it on tripod to start with and later maybe get a roof mounted one. Will hook it all up this weekend while camping and hopfully have Sat TV watch the NASCAR race on.

RE: Need new tires for the Warrior

I also put on the Maxxis 15 load E on my LE. The wheels and stems are rated to handle the E's. To see them look HERE on the first page.

Satellite Setup for Weekend Warrior

Well, I guess it's time move into the 21 century and add a satellite dish. We were quite happy with just your standard TV reception but now with digital TV we can't get much in the way of reception, even though we have LCD TV's. I have done several searches but can't seem to find the one which someone here had a very good write up with pic's on how to set up a WW for satellite. So if someone or the OP has a link to the old thread, it would make the wife happy to be able to fall sleep to the snews.

RE: Dexter EZ Flex for triple axle.

Here are a couple pic's of the Dexter EZ-Flex installed
Completed right side
http://members.cox.net/ckwightman/pics/Rightside.JPG height=640 width=480
Inside of left side
http://members.cox.net/ckwightman/pics/Leftside.JPG height=640 width=480
If you look at the above pic you can tell the spring eye for the middle axle is slightly higher than is was stock, causing the axle to rotate a bit which decreases the distance from the middle and front tires.

RE: Dexter EZ Flex for triple axle.

Those weren't my pic's, I will try post some of mine. I don't have multiple holes on mine just one. Seems that was a hit or miss deal from Zieman I guess. Mine is stock height, no flipped axles or anything like that. As I recall someone on here had to do just that because the equalizer zerks hit the top of the mount. Mine have plenty of clearance.

RE: Dexter EZ Flex for triple axle.

I have it installed on my LE, it changes the angles of the schackles abit but it hasn't been an issue yet. It did flip the front schackle from spring on top to spring on bottom once after it was first installed but it returned to normal once I backed into it's parking spot. That hasn't happend since and I have put about 400 miles on it now. The middle tires are about 1" closer to the front tires but that hasn't been problem either, unless it is uneven between the sides, which mine isn't.
I too talked to the people at Dexter and also sent them pic's of the setup and they didn't seem to overly concerned about any of the setup. I like the way the TH rides now and the ablity to grease all of joints is nice. The true test will come this winter when we go to the dunes. I think you will like the kit, you will need the 35" one for our model.
