water purification tablets vs sanitizing/

Anyone tried the water purification tablets to cleanse their fresh water systems? We sanitize our system twice a year but it would be much easier if the tablets do a good job.. Someone told us they used the tablets on their boat and they worked great. The ad for the product list is for boats and rv's.

RE: dry skin or dandruff

Thanks one and all for your comments. Some backgroung that I should have included in the first place--I think Little Bit is about 12 years old, she seems in otherwise good health. When I take her to the vet she is one of those who will lay down and let you do anything to her withou a protest. In fact the first time I took her this big muscle builder type came in with the vet and I asked him if he was the bouncer. They soon figured out he wasn't needed.
They didnt'e even try to get blood last we since she seemed ok and the year before they tried several times but didn't have any luck.Maybe she is just old and dried up like her owner. They have once or twice in the past been able to get blood though.
She has had this before but it has gone away, this time just hanging on a little longer. I did change her food but just from one flavor to another, same brand, so maybe trying something different altogether would help. Also we left her home alone for 2 night to go see th kids and that could have stressed her.
No wonder she is messed up though, just when she starts growing her winter coat we up and leave for the RGV for the winter. Then we bring her back to Memphis and before she adjusts to this climate we take off fro cooler climates for the summer.
Warms my heart that so many of you care, thanks, Karen

rubber roof cleaner-strip wax?

We want to clean our roof with some cleaner we got from CW but just waxed the motorhome and wondered if the cleaner would take the wax off. Anyone with experience or advise to share?

RE: dry skin or dandruff

Do you cook the fish or is it raw. Would a can of tuna in oil work?

RE: dry skin or dandruff

She eats Purina One dry food, sometimes chicken and rice, systensive systems or mature cats. Also twice a week she gets a small container of wet Meow mix chicken and beef. I don't know for sure how old she is since we found her in the woods next to our house about 12 years ago but I don't think she is much older than that. She was so skinny she was pregnant and we didn't know it until she had two kittens. She had been shot with a bb gun and the bb is still in her. her her She doesn't look or act sick now just the dry skin. We did leave her alone for two nights while we went to see the kids and that must have been stressful for her, could that be it. She hates to travel and our kids have a mean cat that scares her so we thought she would be better off at home.
Thanks to everyone's help and concern, only another pet lover understands.

RE: dry skin or dandruff

Well I just took her to the vet a week ago and they said she looked fine. Didn't do blood work since they couldn't find a vein. Maybe I should take her back and let them try again.

Thanks, I will call the vet and see what they have. She still loves to be scratched there and everywhere else.

found cat--tumors?

Sooo we were at the CG in Texas when this small cat showed up. I called here kitty and she came running, rubbing, meowing and generly suckink up. All the while my cat was at the door hissing and growling like my husband with the lawn mower-another story. Anyway, we gave it some of our mean cats food and the cat ate like it was starving to death. Of cours, I started rubbing and scratching and it arched it's back like one does and----there were the tumors!!!! Poor thing had to be in so much pain I think, I tell my dh and anyway to make this story shorter suffice it to say I had never seen a unnutered male cat before. The cat was happy but my face is still red.

Roof Leak or Condensation???

We have a 2000 Pace Arrow Vision. In the bathroom/shower we seem to have a water leak in the area where the roof joins the sidewall. It's coming from a partially enclosed space with electrical wiring running front to back. Upon initial inspection I see where drops of water have run down plus see beads of water all over the wall in the same area. All roof seams in the area have been sealed with eternabond tape. Local weather here in the Rio Grande Valley has seen lows around 50 and highs around 60 with very high humidity and days of occasional rain showers or drizzels
Any ideas regarding solutions will appreciated?

Hydraulic Jacks - Odd question

At times during the day and evening we hear a popping sound which seems to be coming from the jack return spring. After observation over several days I have noticed that during the day the jacks have extended an additional eighth of an inch or so while first thing in the morning they have retracted a little more than that. What could be the cause of that? I'm guessing that in the heat of the day the jack fluid is expanding then contracting in the cool of the evening. Is that a possible cause or is there something else responsible? It's more pronounced here in the Rio Grande Valley as current temps range from around 60 during the night to around 90 during the day.

RE: bedroom chair

Thanks guys, I will see if I can find a 2004 or 06 model somewhere.
bill and I don't like to watch the same things on tv and I am tired of lying on the bed. Can't read too well there either so a chair would be nice.

bedroom chair

I know Winnie made some models with a chair in the bedroom, anyone know what years are involved? Also, any other RV's with the chair? The only reason I would change RV's would be to get one with the chair, just a dream of mine. Thanks

Sorry, I don't know but you would be welcome next door at Bentsen Grove. I didn't even walk over for a burger last year but others from our park did.

RE: length of job

Check Corp of Engineers campgrounds. They usually have short term commitments for as little as one month.
