RE: Cure for fogging window??

I'm with Fire Up---after two rigs with "insulated glass" I'm convinced that the same salesman that sold the Brooklyn bridge is at work here. IMHO they are greatly, and I mean GREATLY, overated. As I replace mine, it will be with single pane glass.

Teeth cleaning

When Pepper came home from her teeth cleaning, we had no idea how hostile her sister would be. These two have always played and chased each other and been a complete joy to have.
Fortunately, after a couple of days of watching and separating, they seem to be getting back to their old selves.
We hear that this is a normal reaction and is due to the odors picked up at the vet. Anyone have a similar experience?
Thanks
Bob

RE: Air conditioner vibration

Don't forget to check the four mounting bolts that are inside your rig, they may be loose. Access them from inside the filter/intake area.

RE: Old Monaco repair facility in FL

Covenant Coach is gone. Been gone for a few years.
I'd have to echo what has been said about Turning Wheel. My experience with them was not very good.
You might try American Pro RV in Summerfield. I was satisfied with their work.

RE: Fogged windows, important update.

Scott,
I'd like to know the outcome of your single pane experiment. Sounds good to me. At least with condensation, you can clear the window to see out, impossible with fogged up dual pane glass.

RE: Waste valve cable question?

F550-4X4---I also had a bad cable operated valve and opted to install a new manifold from Valtera, with direct action valves. If you have the room--that may be the way to go.
I installed the new manifold after the original gray and black valves and simply opened the original valves. I now use the new valves to control the dumping operation---much better!

IR readings for W-22 Brakes

I'm sure there are quite a few of us W-20 & W-22 chassis owners carrying IR readers with us now---how about posting the temperatures that you are recording under normal operating conditions?
What is considered abnormal?

RE: ABS break light

Arch,
Would you please share your readings when your brakes are operating normally? I'm sure that quite a few of us W-22 owners are carrying IR readers with us now but, info on temps are scarce.
Thanks

RE: Cat Harness

We use the walking jacket on our cats.
If you find that your cat can still escapeturn the jacket 180 degree's, so that the solid cloth strip is between the front legs, and attach your leash somewhere on the top.
After reading this--I guess it's one of those"you gotta be there" things.

RE: Carpet's Wet Again!

The window may be your problem but,I doubt it. My 2002 Admiralleaked from day one,and Monaco worked on it so many times that I knew the front counter folks by first names. The techs called my coach "Mr. Soaker".
The best I have done is to seal the slide-out awning rail where it attaches to the roof. Apparently the stress of the slide-out extending and retracting, flexes that seam and the water follows to the area you mention.
Since I discovered that area and have sealed and re-sealed, my wet area stays dry. "Knock on wood"

RE: HHR owner satisfaction

We tow a 2006 HHR and have approximately 40,000 miles on it. Great little car, except for the rotors. Hopefully, in the later models they beefed them up.
Wouldn't hesitate to purchase another HHR.
