RE: Dog bed under RV bed?

I'm sure it would work, if your Labs cooperate. Our Chihuahua is kind enough to allow us to sleep in HER bed with her. :) Fixed it for you. :B

RE: headed to Kernville

From Upland, take the 15/395 to 14, rather than thru Antelope Valley. LOTS less traffic.

RE: Cordless drill for scissor jacks

14.4 Dewalt from my shop does the trick. First, get the trailer a LITTLE nose-down. Then, run the stab-jacks down to just touch the ground with the drill. Lastly, use the tongue jack (that big electric thing with tons of torque!) to level out the rig. Job Done.

RE: RV park reviews hijacked?

Every time I select California, I get redirected to an ad, different ones with each attempt. I am using an I phone and clear the history and power off the phone with each attempt. Frustrating! Dump your cookies and internet history.

RE: Hot wheel rims, hub and smell from axle

1st guess would be mis-adjusted brakes. Jack up each wheel and see if it turns easily. If they turn easily, then I'd check wheel bearings. It's one or the other.

RE: Getting to a light bulb or two

I'd bet the sconce is spring loaded, and you can just pull (gently of course) straight out. Try a plastic spatula or something to try and get under an edge.

RE: Dry camping with furnace on

Take the existing battery to an auto parts store that tests batteries for free (they can test it when while it's still installed). Then get either 1 or 2, depending on the test. Shop around - the auto parts store may or may not have the best prices.

RE: CO2 detector going off from??toilet gas??

1. Bad placement. 2. Possible off gassing from building materials (think foam in couch, bed, glue from assembly, the list is endless. It WILL go away eventually. 3. Units DO go bad, even when they're brand new. Remember the RV industry uses the CHEAPEST parts they can get. Got to an RV supply store and get a replacement.

RE: Microwave Oatmeal

....How about cream of wheat?.... From the Cream of Wheat webpage: "Cream of Wheatâ„¢ Original Enriched Farina is made with ground wheat, has a smooth texture and is an excellent source of iron and calcium. The traditional cook-on-stove product is prepared by boiling water or milk and slowly pouring in the ground wheat while stirring. Let it simmer while stirring for one minute after the ground wheat is blended. This product may also be cooked using a microwave oven for faster and easier preparation."
