RE: add a room

Probably the best one thing I have done to make a tc more comfortable.
It takes less than 15 min. to set up or take down the room but it doubles or triples your floor space. They are relatively expensive $500.00+, but you can find one on ebay sometimes for $100.00+-. Don't worry about size. The side panels are the same for all applications. The front panel should be 2-3" less width than your awning fabric to keep rain out. Buy a good used one any size greater than your awning width, have it cut to fit. It cost me $25.00 to get a 17 feet one cut to fit my 10 feet awning. save the waste for repairs. Get an indoor/outdoor carpet cut to fit the floor. You will be surprised at the added space.
You will have to make the panel that goes along the camper side. The panel that comes with the room is made for tt and won't work good. I got a cloth tarp and cut and glued it to fit along the camper edge. Add snaps to the side of the tc for hanging. I got a 4000 btu ac and sit it on a short stool. keeps the room cool. Rig a hanging light. Excellant place to relax, even sleep, on a recliner. Leave the camper door open. Be sure to get one that has privacy flaps. They come in 2 colors - white and beige.

RE: Stinger rework

One more thing you could do. I have about the same setup with a 1161.Use a 48" extension. Where you have the side swag turnbuckles mounted, get 2 more and go vertical to the tow ball location in front of your tag. These, in tension, gives a lot of lift support to the extension. The higher you can mount them to the truck, the better
