Hey guys, just an FYI. I went online today to check my reservation, and make a change, and apparently they have changed the reservation website. When I signed in, it said that I did not have any reservations scheduled. So, long story short, I spent an hour on the phone with them. They finally located my reservation, but it still does not come up under my account. Everyone should make sure you have your reservation number when you go because I have a feeling they are going to have a lot of problems with the new system. Just thought you guys woule want to know.

There are a lot of blogs about eternabond. Without looking at all 141 pages, can someone tell me, is it best to remove the current caulking before installing the eternabond, or just apply it over what is there?

Rubber Roof Maintenance
Just need some thoughts here. I have a 2006 Jayco 25E. It is at the dealer now getting some repairs for water leaks. I asked them to look at the roof and give me their thoughts on cleaning/sealing. They called me and gave me two estimates, one for clean and patch cracking sealer, $250, and one for cleaning/stripping/resealing all areas, $600. When is it time to completely strip all old sealer versus just patching?

2006 Jayco 25E, yes, front bunk when driving in rain. It's in the shop now, hopefully getting fixed.

tundruman67, I agree with Mwebber, well written, and you certainly didn't offend me. This was also my point, nice of them to step up, but to have to spend anything on a problem that they know exists still rubs me the wrong way. I haven't had a lot of issues with my 25E, and I like the Hybrid well enough to want to keep it, but if I continue to have water issues after this new fix, I will get have to re-evaluate the situation.

I currently have my 2006 Jayco 25E at the dealer I purchased it from. I started to notice bubbling on the front bunk door, and then the wood inside starting to swell. I took it in, hoping to get some assistance in repairing the problem. First estimate $2400, with no assistance from Jayco. Then the dealer offered to knock the price down to $1700. Finally, Jayco offered to assist, and now the price is 6-700 for me. Point being, they first refused to help, then after some squealing, they have stepped up to do a partial. Nice of them to step up, BUT, as the dealer told me, they know they have a problem, they have since inseption, and that is why they are helping. So, yes they are nice to help, but they are helping because the design has flaws. Either way, you have no recourse, except the offer or don't. I would!!

Glad we didn't make plans to come. Our RV is still in the shop......
You just reminded me. I took my rig to the dealer a couple of weeks ago. It seems that the leak in the front bunk when traveling in the rain has taken it's toll. I noticed the wood around the bunk swollen when winterizing it. So, i took it in and asked for some assistance from Jayco. They originally denied my request, but after some hounding, it went from costing me $2400 to $600. So, better than nothing I guess.

Hey guys, I guess you heard we will not be camping this weekend. Just can't make it happen, as much as we want to. I just started a new job and have to work until 9:00 on Friday and 3:00 on Saturday, and we have a wedding to go to on Saturday night. Bummer. We haven't been camping since June!!!!!! Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I also started my own business back in July, so I've been a little busy. I go from not working at all to two jobs. Gotta love it.
Anyway, we are going to try to get out to Elk Neck first thing Sunday before everyone leaves. Hope to see everyone.
P.S. Chris, it's tidal water.

We would have liked to be there with you guys, but some friends booked Elk Neck before we cancelled our reservations to come with you all. Looks like everyone had a great time. Wish we could have been there, but duty called (fishing trip with my buddies from high school, it's a tradition). We were at Trap Pond, and I don't know if you had the same weather, but I was waiting to hear a voice from the sky telling me to start gathering animals two by two. WOW, did it rain. But the fishing went on, all day, for four days. Diehards forever. NOw its time to dry everything out and head to Elk Neck for this weekend with Kim and the boys. Hope to see some of you at Eagles Peak.
Good pictures. Sorry I missed the chipmunk discussion, that sounded special.:B

Hey all, we had a blast with everyone this weekend. It was a great way to start off the season. The weather got better as the weekend went on, so all in all, it was a success.
Great job on both easter egg events, as usual Sharon did a great job of organizing, and everyone participated.
The trip home was uneventful, and the boys are exhausted. Everything cleaned, washed and put away until the next trip.
We loved Killens, I think the campsites are great.
