My GS card presently has a rate of 11.99%. If you make the mistake of getting cash with it they charge you 19.99%.
Paying it off every month is the only way to go.
Discover went up to 18.24% and 23.99% for cash advances.
Some transactions are very difficult without a card, such as renting a car.

Overhead clearances shrink when the roadway is repaved without removing the old paving. Some signs are not to be trusted.
The older parkways were built in the 30s under the direction of Robert Moses. His vision was that they would be for "pleasure driving", no trucks allowed. He did not ever have a drivers license. He was chauffeured around in a limo. I saw him a few times riding along in the back seat reading his newspaper. He was adamant that the speed limit would be 35 mph on "his" parkways.

The industry standard is to measure from hitch to rear bumper.
There was a previous thread on this subject a while back.
I regard over 20' as mid-size, 30' qualifies as huge.
A lot depends on how you use it. Little ones travel easier. If you just go to a destination and stay there, then larger will work.

Forget checks, have them direct deposit it. That way the money goes into the bank even if you are off on a trip somewhere.
I paid off my mortgage, started SS, and quit my job all as I turned 63.
