Sony used a proprietary cable with unique connectors. It is possible to clip off the ends and splice in the cable ends from the new system -- siply using the old cable's individual conductors as a pass-through.
But, Sony's old b/w cable has extremely small and delicate individual conductors. As mentioned above, it is possible to splice, but the work is tedious and delicate -- and you will probably do the rear one whole standing on a ladder. There's a lot of room for error and aggravation.
You would be better off running the new cable. It might take three or four hours to do it, but it might also take as long if you were splicing.
You also could have bought a Voyager system with adapters that would allow you to plug directly into the Sony cable. But, that would run you ~$550 and it sounds like you already bought your replacement camera and monitor.
