RE: Honda 2000 generator - need help!! (FIXED NOW)

Make sure that the knob on top of the gas tank is on. If it's off it will cut out in 15 to 20 min.
Ditto on the air relief on gas cap. thats what happened to me.

RE: Potty Question...nope not about TP ...; )

Thetford Aria Classic is a porcelain elongated bowl with pedal flush.
Might be direct replacement or might need adapter flange. Check w/Thetford
Aria Classic
There's also the Aria Deluxe II.....no hand or pedal.....fingertip flush (electric)
As to hand flush vs foot flush...how long are your arms:B
Yes this is a great potty one thing you better keep in mind and that is the backset of the toilet the Aria seems to show a 11 inch from the back of the toilet to the center of the dump hole allow at least another 1/2 inch between the new toilet and the wall.

RE: Stinky Holding Tanks

If the tanks are questionable and have an order, you might go to Lowes or Home Depot and get two boxes of Rid-ex septic tan cleaner fill your tank with water and dump the hole box of rid-ex in each tank, let them sit for a couple of days then dump them, then flush it again with fresh water, it will leave your tanks squeeky clean and orderless.
Then use your tanks as normal with the cemical of your choosing.

RE: Anyone using the built in Dodge Brake controller?

I have a 09 ram with the factory exhost brake and I also have the P-3 controler, I dred the thought of not having a electronic brake controler and trying to stop my trailer. I have had no problem with my exhost brake and I use it most of the time the reason for that is it will keep carbon build up from building up on the slide of the brake which is one of there big problems. I love the combo together. going down 6 & 7% grades and hardly ever touching my brakes.
when coming down Pikes Peak mountain ta the 1/2 way marker they measered my brakes disk temp it was 174 deg.

RE: cooling down fridge for maiden voyage

I use the blue ice packs once in a while, but most of the time it will be at opperating temp in about 4 hours, dont forget to get 2 of the Blue fans for the lower section they move the cold air from the bottom of the frig to the top where the warm air is sitting.

RE: Wineguard Carryout Antenna for Dish Network

After you set your dip switches and get it back together the next thing you might incounter is ( if you have a 311 receiver as I do ) I found if you get Wineguard Antenna on the phone they will help you get it set up for that receiver (311). It seems that the 311 has switch problems and they will walk you through this and get you up and running, The problem turned out that it looks for Sat # 129 and the 311 only uses Sat 110 and 119.. SAT 129 is for HDTV channels. after they set my switches I was told NEVER do another check switch on the receiver because it will change all the settings for the receiver 311. then you will have to set the internal switches in the receiver again.
So far it has worked like a charm, you will notice a delay when it changes from one SAT, ie: 110 to 119 a window saying looking for SAT will appear for about 5 sec then when it has located the SAT it was looking for it will then show the channel you selected. It is a little distraction but who cares, whats 5 seconds.

RE: Dufess Sideswiped my Trailer - Need Advice on Repairs

Turn it over to your insurance company and let them find out all the information and if they dont have insurance you have uninsured mortist and you wont pay anything for repairs.
the insurance company should turn over to DMV that the truck didnt carry insurance if he didnt then they get involved. too bad but you were lucky it hit the trailer and mt your TV, that might have beem a disaster.

RE: F-350 Super Cab or Crew Cab?

I had a F350 DRW super cab or king cab it was the roughist riding truck I ever owned. my BRO in LAW has a F350 crew cab DRW and it is much more plesant a ride. also the super cab is a shorter wheel base than a crew cab that gives the better ride in my book.

RE: Refrigerator fans

I have two of those frig fans for mine and it maintains the 39 deg I like. I like them because a RV frig does not circulate anything because it dont come with a fan, the cold air just sits there, a fan is a must as far as I'm concerned.
All I have to do now is get the DW to close the door asap, she thinks it like the one at home, open the door and look for something while the cold air goes out and on the floor.
