RE: Shady Acres, Ft. Myers, FL (old section is a dump)

If Shady Acres was your first choice, I'll bet you were price shopping. They are about the cheapest in the area. You get what you pay for. There are plenty of nice parks in the area.

RE: Looking for good rv park in Albuquerque, NM

Why not stay at the grounds. you beat the traffic that way. We are not big on crowds either but always enjoy stay on the grounds at the Baloon Park.

RE: looking for pros and cons of propane injection on a DP

I know that they are available. Had one come in the camp ground I was staying in . It was in a truck pulling a 5th wheel.

RE: Cashing small checks in Southern States.

Most of the parks we stay at will cash small checks.

RE: Frustrations at finding grocery stores

If, in fact, there ARE significant frustrations in adapting to the fulltiming lifestyle, perhaps it's time to raise the unmentionable question.....?
We all know that there's many different lifestyles, and you simply have to go with the one that suits you best.
C.D. don't you ever give up??? You just don't get how people can be happy at some thing that you just couldn't handle.

So why hasn't Diesel come down

Crude is down below $40 a barrel. I would have thought fuel would have come down a lot more.

RE: Snowed In andf Generator Won't Run-Any Ideas?

Well I'm going to give you the old truck driver remedies . If you can, get to a truck stop get some ether. WD40 will also work. Spray it into the air intake while trying to start it.

RE: campgrounds

I wouldn't go to far West of Port Charlotte, lest you have pontoons. Englewood is North of Port Charlotte and there are a number of CG's in that area.
Look at a map. Englewood is is almost due west of Port Charlotte. Port Carlotte is at the head of Charlotte Harbor.
