	RE: Campground Suggestions around Gananoque/1000 Islands, ON About 5 years ago we stayed at the 1000 Islands Camping Resort in Gananoque. It was OK for us and price was better then KOA. The road through Maine is good but slow because it has a lot of curves and hills. Nothing to worry about we have done it several times.
