RE: Parking at Gillette Stadium? (Patriots game day)

We live locally and yes we also wanted to take the TC for a tailgate party. But be prepared to pay the $ 140,-- for the RV lot because you will not be allowed in the regular parking lots with a TC. Gerry

RE: Ordering F350 from factory?

Dealers love customers who wish to build their own truck. It gives you no bargaining power, they got you and you pay the quoted price. It is better to establish exactly what you want.. and once you know this then do a search on various website including Ford.Change the zip code from time to time to see what is available in stock at various dealers near you or along a route you are going to travel. I got lucky in 2003 and found my truck in Tennesee. Gerry

RE: temporary internet connection required

Lorne&Lorraine - Indeed thank you for your input I just talked to Virgin and I shall be going to their Saint John N.B. store to buy either their Novatel Ovation MC 760 or their Novatel MC 998D broadband stick - I think either one will do the trick at a somewhat reasonable price for a period of 1 month Does any one -now living or traveling in Atlantic Canada- know about these sticks? and how effective they are? slow? acceptable? fast? We will be staying @ Kedgie park Gerry

RE: temporary internet connection required

Thank you all for your various comments in reply to a question: We shall enter via St.Stephen and then proceed to Saint John and catch the Digby ferry (this ferry has wifi spot) So no problems sofar but when we are in Nova Scotia at a campground 25 miles from the nearest wifi spot! what do we use then ? Paoli comments about the Telus stick are excellent but.... for a 3-4 week stay in Nova Scotia a Telus contract for 2 years @ C$ 45.00 per month is a bit steep to say the least. So please do you have any other ideas ??? Thanks Gerry

RE: Best time for Disney in Florida

Your question "best time for Disney in florida" It looks to me that you may want to change your travel itenary because as others have stated Think Thanksgiving day then time 2-3 weeks before or 1 -2 weeks after Our youngest son & family has done this several times and they swear by it Good luck Gerry

temporary internet connection required

We shall be entering New Brunswick in early August and I am asking for guidance as to what to buy/rent in Canada to from time to time to be connected to the internet to read email messages. We have a cell phone from Consumer Cellular in USA which has no reasonable cost coverage in Canada - We have a new Dell laptop. Can one buy/rent? an aircard for the computer for a period of one month only? All comments welcome regards Gerry PS I am aware of WIFI possibilities but where I will be staying closest one is 25 miles away

RE: Route opinion - OBX to I95 heading south....

HI Nik Hazel and I did this trip in reverse - At an info booth along I 95 near Lumberton we were told to stay on I 95 going north and take the exit for state highway # 70 and follow it all the way to the Cedar Island ferry (I was told this was longer but much better highway)From what I remember the hardest part was from New Bern to the Ferry. We stayed @ a campgound called Sea Level about 15 miles from ferry. From this campgound back to I 95 was about 3.5-4 hours By the way when you stop at Howards have a beer on me - as a matter of fact why not have 2 Enjoy your trip Gerry PS we are now staying in Twin Mountain N.H. and in2 weeks time we are off to Nova Scotia
